Updates Available for Debian GNU/Linux 5.0

Corrections are now available to address security problems to the stable distribution Debian GNU/Linux 5.0 (codename lenny). Also offered are a few adjustment to serious problems in the Debian project's third update. However, the update does not translate into a new version of Debian GNU/Linux 5.0 instead users can expect updates from some of the packages.

Users can update using an up-to-date Debian mirror after an installation so 5.0 CDs or DVDs remain useful. Most updates can be accessed from security.debian.org. They only need to point the aptitude (or apt) package tool (see the sources.list(5) manual page) to one of Debian's many FTP or HTTP mirrors. Surely, these updates would be good news to users, especially students who are busy in other activities like preparing their essay paper assignments and other custom essays they need.

So this is really a good news for serious Debian GNU/Linux users. Here is hoping more updates to come!
